16 year old Southport boy arrested for violent disorder and burglary

A 16-year-old boy from Southport, who can’t be named for legal reasons, has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and burglary in relation to disorder in Southport.

A man has been charged and a teenager arrested as we continue to investigate violent disorder in Merseyside.

David Finn, 37, of Neston Street, in Walton, has been charged with violent disorder in Walton. He has been remanded to appear at Liverpool Magistrate’s Court this morning, Friday 27 September.

The total number of people arrested for disorder in Merseyside now stands at 116, with 77 charged and 55 sentenced to a combined 116 years and 4 months.
