52-year-old Arrested on Suspicion of Murder in Southport

Police are investigating the death of a 70-year-old man found at a Southport house in Braemar Avenue late on Sunday. A 52-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Detective Inspector Alan Nuttall said: “Enquiries are in the very early stages as we seek to establish the circumstances of what has taken place and we would urge people not to speculate while those enquiries remain ongoing.
