A cat in Southport is stealing fish from garden ponds

A cat in Southport that has run out of mice to catch has taken to stealing fish from garden ponds.

The owner of the cat has posted a warning on social media for fish owners to be vigilant.

Please be aware, my fish thief of a cat has run out of mice and is now stealing someone's fish. 

 I do apologise!  

So if you around the Banastre Road area, I think around the back between Linaker and Sefton street, then you'll want to cover your pond asap! She's had off with two now in the past hour!
