A howling gale and high tide batter Southport seafront -Video

An exceptionally high tide backed by a howling gale battered Southport seafront today. Accompanied by lashing rain it was a spectacular sight. Lots of spray and water coming over the wall. There is another high tide tomorrow around 12.40.

HM Coastguard were keeping an eye on the tide as well
