Arrests at the Southport Festival

Operation Pelican Officers carrying out proactive policing around the Southport Festival area

During this numerous members of the community have been reassured and spoken with

Due to their ongoing work around the area the following results have been achieved;

*Two adult males have been arrested for Drug supply offences and a bladed article recovered

*An adult female was detained and found in possession of a quantity of Class A Drugs and was interviewed in regards to the offence

*A juvenile male was stopped and found in possession of a quantity of Class B Drugs and will be interviewed at a later date

*Alcohol was seized from under age youths in the area believed to be causing ant social behaviour around the festival area
