Blast mens Training in Southport raise £878 for Queenscourt Hospice

Members of Blast Mens Training in Southport took part in a gruelling three-hour workout session to raise money for Queenscourt Hospice in December.

The challenge involved weights, bodyweights and cardio exercises and the gym raised an incredible £878.

Owner Mark Poole said: “The intensity of the session was the same, if not more, than that of our 45 minutes workouts.

“The fellas put an absolute ton of effort in!”

Explaining how the idea came about, Poole added: “One of our core values as a business is to serve the local community.

“We have been wanting to do something for the community for a couple of years now and we had something planned but then Covid hit.

“Queenscourt is an amazing charity that helps people who are often forgotten about.”
