Boston United v Southport Match Preview

Southport make the long trip to Lincolnshire and a visit to the brand new stadium at Boston United on Saturday, kick off 3pm.

Buoyed by an excellent result, and performance at Telford on Tuesday, Southport will be in confident mood after the win following the blip of two defeats on the road.

Boston sit in 8th place and have 8 wins at home, 1 draw and 4 defeats. The game at Haig Avenue saw Southport run out 4-1 winners with a Marcus Carver hat-trick and Jordan Archer on target.

Since that game there has been a change at the top with Craig Elliott departing and Paul Cox taking over.
