Our 7th trip to St James Park and still to find a win, it is not a happy hunting ground for The Sandgrounders.

The game was settled in the 2oth minute when Connor Hall scored from a corner.

Southport did create a couple of decent chances with Owen Lunt going close and Jamie Proctor fired straight at the ‘keeper when one on one but as has been the case in previous visits goals are hard to come by in Northamptonshire, we have scored just one goal in 7 visits.
