Busy times for Southport Lifeboat

Our lifeboat and quad bikes were tasked to assist in the search for a missing person on Ainsdale beach.
Shortly after leaving the station, our assets were stood down as the missing person had been located. Also tasked were Southport Coastguard and Merseyside Police.

CALL OUT - 11/08/2024 - 20:25 - 

CALL OUT - 02/08/24 - 12:31 - Southport Quads called to check the safety of a person on the beach north of Southport Pier.
Due to the state of tide, the quads could not cross the Pier channel, so had to enter the beach at the old Rainfords sand works.
In the meantime, our UAS (drone) team flew over to check that the person was ok, whilst the quads made their way to the casualty.
The quads met with the person, who was aware of the state of the tides and in no danger.

CALL OUT - 29/07/24 - 18:27 - Southport Quads tasked to search for two missing children at Ainsdale. The quads were stood down prior to leaving the station as the children had been located safe and well.
