Southport man charged after attempted car break-ins on Falkland Road
A man has been charged after several attempts were made to break into cars on Falkland Road in Southport.
At around 1.20am on Friday 7 August we received a report of a man looking into car windows and trying all of the vehicle’s doors along addresses on Falkland Road in Southport.
Officers searched the area and found and detained a man wearing a balaclava and gloves on the driveway of a property on Falkland Road.
Michael Edwardson, aged 61, of Balfour Road in Southport has been charged with going equipped for theft and three counts of vehicle interference.
He was remanded to court and bailed to appear at Sefton Magistrates Court on Wednesday 30 September.
