Planters bringing colour to Crossens say local Councillors
Meols Ward Lib Dem Councillors have welcomed the new planters in Crossens Village and have thanked residents, businesses and the Crossens Community Association for their help in maintaining them.
The planters have been funded by money from the council’s ward funding which can be spent on things that add value to the local area. The planters were provided by Natural Alternatives in Botanic Gardens.
Councillor John Dodd commented: “It’s fantastic to see the planters bringing such colour to the village. They are making a real difference and we have had lots of positive comments from residents on them.
Councillor Gareth Lloyd-Johnson, said: “It’s really important that we take pride in our local areas and the planters really make the Village come alive. It’s also great for the environment.”
