Despondent male rescued from Rainfords track

Southport Rescue were tasked by Holyhead Coastguard to a despondent male on Southport Beach. 

Rescue quads proceeded to the scene while Southport ILB, The Christopher Taylor, was placed on immediate readiness to launch if required. The ATVs headed down Rainford’s Track where they met Southport Mobile and Merseyside Police who were with the casualty.

The casualty was escorted back to Marine Drive and into the care of the police.
