Emergency services called to Lord Street in Southport

The emergency services were called to Lord Street in Southport early this afternoon(24th November) They arrived to find a person lying in the road surrounded by concerned members of the public. It is not known if the person was hit by a vehicle or suffered a medical episode.

Police directed traffic around the incident as the person was treated.

Paramedics had a stretcher and an Emergency Ambulance ready to transport the patient to a hospital.
