Lancashire Fire and Rescue asks residents to shape 2027–2032 plan
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service is asking people who live and work in Lancashire to take part in a consultation on the risks it should focus on over the next five years.
The service is preparing its new Community Risk Management Plan, which will cover 2027 to 2032. It will set out how the service intends to prevent and respond to emergencies across Lancashire.
The consultation asks people to consider risks including fires, flooding, wildfires, road collisions and water rescues. Feedback will help shape the final plan and how the service uses its resources in future.
The online survey takes around five minutes to complete and closes at 5pm on Friday 9 October 2026.
Residents can take part through the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service survey on SmartSurvey.
People in Southport should note that the town is served by Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, rather than Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
