Football and Faith: Southport FC Engages with Local Islamic Community

Southport Football Club would like to express our gratitude to the Light Foundation and the Southport Islamic Society Mosque for inviting us to their Open Day and Guided Tour.
The Light Foundation’s work in promoting community cohesion and respect among both faith and non-faith groups is truly inspiring.
Our Chair, Peter Mitchell, had the pleasure of speaking to the community and presenting the Imam with a Southport FC scarf as a gesture of friendship. We look forward to continuing to build strong, inclusive relationships within our community
