HM Coastguard Presents King's Medals to Southport Life Savers

Earlier this month, we were delighted to welcome Lawrence Ramsay from HM Coastguard, who presented members of our crew with the King’s Coronation Medals.
The King’s Coronation Medals for emergency services are commemorative medals issued to recognise the contributions of emergency workers during significant royal events. They were most recently presented for the coronation of King Charles III.
While not all of our crew were eligible to receive the medals, we would like to recognise the contribution of each and every one of our volunteers for their ongoing commitment in ensuring that Southport has a professional sea and shore-based lifesaving service.
