Immigration Enforcement Officers Conduct Routine Checks in Southport

Officers from The Home Office Immigration Enforcement were in Shakespeare Street in Southport this morning. Several marked and unmarked vehicles arrived and officers went around the back of several establishments.

Officers also visited a number of businesses according to witnesses at the scene. Nobody appeared to have been arrested in the raid.

The business in the picture was not one of the ones visited.
