What are you doing 1st March next year?  Not sure?  Well how about celebrating Woodlands Animal Sanctuary’s 20th birthday with them at their big birthday bash?

Next year Woodlands celebrating their 20th birthday.  And they are very pleased to be able to share with you, the details for their Big 20th Birthday Bash. If you have known Woodlands for longer than 8 years or so, you will know just what an incredible achievement this is, and will no doubt be aware of some of the changes and growth that has happened over that time.  The Woodlands family, which is how a lot of people involved in Woodlands feel about it, would like to invite you to celebrate with them and say Cheers to 20 years! On 1st March 2025, Woodlands invites you to join them at The Grand Hotel, Southport to celebrate the last 2 decades and to welcome in the next 20 years.

Whether you have been involved for the last 20 years, or this is the first time you have heard of them, they warmly invite you to join them for a nostalgic celebration of the life of a local animal rescue.

Walking an ever-changing path, Woodlands has some impressive plans for the future, but just as importantly, they want to celebrate their past and what has led them to celebrating 20 years.  Over the years they have welcomed birds (ducks, hens, geese, quails, budgies, parrots, peacocks), hedgehogs, goats, sheep, ponies, donkeys and of course, throughout all that time, Cats have also featured heavily on their agenda, and still do to this day.

Woodlands strive to rescue, rehabilitate & rehome or release, whichever is appropriate, ill, abandoned & neglected animals.  This passion has only grown over the past 2 decades and in the last 5 years alone they have welcomed over 2839 through their doors.

If you would like to join them for this memorable night, tickets are £47.50 and are available from their website.  Your ticket includes a 3-course meal, live band and DJ for the night.  There will be a few raffles during the evening, which whilst offering you a chance win, will raise further funds for their Winter Warmer appeal which aims to ensure that all the animals in their care have full bellies and warm beds and love in their hearts over the cold winter months.
