Local Officers respond to numerous incidents in Southport

Yesterday, Local Policing Officers in Southport were on foot patrol, in Southport town centre in uniform and in plain clothes in order to be available to respond to any incidents. 

The map attached is of the route that one of the Southport patrols took during the evening shift yesterday. The busy beach and seafront areas were given repeat patrols as was Kings Gardens and Hesketh Park, following recent reports of anti-social behaviour in these locations.

We responded to calls regarding the anti-social use of motorcycles on the promenade and cars being driven in an anti-social manner on the beach, where we liaised with Sefton Council wardens.
