Major disruption on parts of the Merseyrail network

Due to heavy rain flooding the railway at Hooton the Chester and Ellesmere Port line is disrupted. Disruption is expected until 12:00 27/08.

Train services from Ellesmere Port will be suspended between Rock Ferry and Ellesmere Port.
Additional Information:

A Shuttle rail service will operate between Rock Ferry and Liverpool in Both Directions with a rail replacement bus service operating from Rock Ferry to Chester and Ellesmere Port.
