Major incident at old Hogfather building on Cemetery Road in Southport

The emergency services are attending a major incident at the old Hogfather building on Cemetery Road in Southport. At least five police cars and Merseyside Fire And Rescue Service are in attendance.

Firemen rushed into the building with a hose and quickly dealt with the incident.

The large police presence was due to the fact that there is a petrol station next door.
