Major Renovation Works to Close Queensway Tunnel Over Next Weekend

Queensway (Birkenhead) Tunnel – Essential Weekend Major Investment Works
The Queensway (Birkenhead) Tunnel is undertaking some major investment works over the weekend and will be closed from 9pm on Friday 19th January 2024 through to 6.30am on Monday 22nd January 2024. The Kingsway (Wallasey) tunnel will be open as usual but please plan your journeys, leaving plenty of time.
