Mark Barrow, 28, Remanded into Custody after Violence in Southport

Police have charged a Southport man following violent disorder in Liverpool and Southport.

Mark Barrow, 28, of Scarisbrick New Road, Southport, was charged with violent disorder (Southport).

He was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens adult remand court tomorrow, Thursday 12 September.

A second man, aged 38, from Southport, has been bailed pending further enquiries.

The number of people arrested stands at 100 with 63 charged and 45 sentenced.
