Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service called to Hampton Road Clinic

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to Hampton Road Clinic at approximately 5.00 pm today. Fire officers at the scene would not say what the emergency was. There did not appear to be a fire and people at the location were quite relaxed.

A local resident said he thought he could smell a chemical in the air.

MFRS press office has been asked for a statement.
