Merseyside Police have a new Dog ready to catch criminals

We couldn't have asked for a better present just before Christmas!  
Our newest recruit is 15-month-old PD Bear   who has successfully completed his 13-week initial course with his handler to become a fully licensed Police Dog  

Bear started his life as a pet, but he was far too energetic to spend his days on a sofa!
His handler told us "he has so much energy and enthusiasm" and is "110% committed to every task".

Outside of work, Bear absolutely loves laying in wet muddy puddles and enjoys his visits to the groomers.
PD Bear will be on the hunt for criminals after a well earned Christmas break and we wish him the best of luck.
