Music Fanatic Opens New Record Store 'Vinylfinders' in Southport

New store in Southport - Vinylfinders – anything but just another record shop!​

Opening Wednesday 21st February at 7 Wesley Street, Vinylfinders is owned and run by Paul Darwin, 
self-confessed music fanatic. You will not meet a more passionate and knowledgeable vinyl collector.​
​
Vinylfiinders offers exclusive access to Paul Darwin's personal collection, meticulously curated over 
decades travelling the globe as concert promoter, tour manager, festival and gig-goer. Visitors will 
have access to some exceptionally rare finds and an amazing collection of music memorabilia 
acquired during Paul’s time on the road with bands such as Genesis, Lenny Kravitz, ZZ Top, The 
Damned, Iron Maiden, Ian Gillan, Black Sabbath, Jesus and Mary Chain, Sugarcubes, John Martyn, 
Tears For Fears, The Teardrop Explodes, The Smiths, Housemartins, The Beautiful South, Level 42, 
Mark Knopfler, Sham 69, Violent Femmes, The Residents,  Everything but the Girl and loads more. 

Paul’s treasure trove spans all genres and includes many rare titles and pressings - rock, jazz, blues, 
folk, country, soul, Motown, classical and a liberal smattering of personal favourites: power-pop and 
alternative country. 

Paul has also worked in hi-fi retail and for UK audio stalwarts Naim Audio, Arcam and Rega Research 
so he really knows his stuff! Opening his own record store has always been Paul’s dream and 
Vinylfinders is it. Living the dream!😁
