On Sunday 17 November, due to essential signalling work, Merseyrail's northern line will be disrupted.

Ormskirk & Hunts Cross line

Trains will be running between Ormskirk and Walton stations.

Rail replacement buses will be in operation between Aintree and Hunts Cross stations via Moorfields.

Headbolt Lane line

Trains will be running between Headbolt Lane and Rice Lane stations.

Rail replacement buses will be in operation between Rice Lane and Hunts Cross stations via Moorfields.

Southport line

Trains will be running between Southport and Seaforth stations.

Rail replacement buses will be in operation between Waterloo and Moorfields stations.

Monday 18 November - First Services

Due to the signalling works, rail replacement buses will replace trains on all first services on Monday 18 November, these services will be shown in our journey planner. 

06:01 Hunts Cross – Ormskirk will start at Liverpool Central at 06:25.
05:41 Headbolt Lane – Liverpool Central is cancelled.
06:05 Liverpool Central – Headbolt Lane will start from Rice Lane at 06:17.
05:59 Sandhills – Southport will depart at 06:03.
06:02 Liverpool Central – Southport starts Sandhills 06:16.
