Passenger Reassurance as Project Servator Roll-outs at Liverpool John Lennon Airport

air

Officers from the Airport Policing team at Liverpool John Lennon Airport carried out Project Servator deployments in and around the airport today.

We use a variety of tactics including vehicle checkpoints to disrupt criminal activity, including terrorism, while providing a reassuring presence for the public.

These deployments can happen anywhere and at any time. If you see one, don't be alarmed. And if you're on the way to catch a flight and have to stop at a vehicle checkpoint, don't worry – officers won't keep you long.

Thank you to everyone that spoke to officers today about the importance of remaining vigilant. That's lots more eyes and ears helping us keep you safe  .
