Person hit by train at Freshfield

Due to a person being hit by a train at Freshfield the Southport and Hunts Cross line is disrupted. Disruption is expected until 17:45 22/08.

Impact:
Train services between Hunts Cross and Southport will be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from Hall Road.
Customer Advice:
Rail replacement bus services have been requested to run between Hall Road and Southport but are not yet in operation.
Buses are currently expected on site within the next hour.
Additional Information:

A limited rail replacement bus service is now in operation.
Replacement road transport services are conveying passengers between Hall Road and Southport in both directions until further notice.
