Police and Paramedics called to the Plough roundabout

Police and Paramedics were called to Preston New Road just before 2.00pm today (September 11th) close to the Plough roundabout. Although not confirmed a witness nearby said someone had been hit by a car.

Paramedics were treating somebody in an Ambulance.  The Police were sat in the bus shelter with a man who was being questioned about the incident. Nothing else is known at the moment.
