Police appeal after attempted break-in at Morrisons petrol station in Southport

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: “At around 4.30am Thursday 13 January, we received a report of a burglary at Morrisons petrol station on Lord Street, Southport.

“Officers attended and found that the front door of the building had been damaged and the premises had been searched.

“CCTV, forensic and witness enquiries are being carried out to identify those responsible.”
