Police called to Southport Summer Dog Festival

Officers from Merseyside Police were called to the Southport Summer Dog Festival being held in Victoria this weekend. Three Police vehicles could be seen outside the park. Police spent a long time talking to a family by the entrance as other officers entered the park.

A heated discussion occurred between the officers and the family, ending with the family walking off. People at the scene had no idea what was going on when asked.
