Police in Southport continue to clamp down on street drinking

Police in Southport continued their crackdown on street drinking today with several people having alcohol confiscated from them. The police poured it down the drain.

A stern warning was issued to the drinkers who will no doubt be back tomorrow.

Police arrested a woman on Lord Street last week for the same offence.
