Police incident in West Street Southport

Officers from Merseyside Police are attending an incident in the West Street and Royal Terrace area of Southport. Locals at the scene said that a considerable amount of drug dealing takes place. This has yet to be confirmed.

Initially three police vehicles were on scene but one has now left.

Arrests in West Street are a common sight as the police crack down on drug dealers.
