Police incident Market Street Southport

Police were called to a property in Market Street Southport at approximately 9.15 this morning.Three marked Police vehicles and two unmarked vehicles were at the scene.

Officers could be seen in the rear yard searchng bins. At 9.30 a North West Ambulance arrived and a male aged about thirty was escorted by an officer into the care of the paramedics.

Police remain at the scene.
