Police incident on Chapel Street in Southport

Police rushed to Chapel Street in Southport at approximately 9.30 today 21st July  after being called by members of the public. Officers quickly detained a man and after checks he was taken away in a Police car.

Witnesses at the scene thought he was selling drugs but this has yet to be confirmed.
