Police issue warning letters to speeding drivers in West Lancs
Lancashire police said...
After you told us about speeding concerns on specific roads across West Lancashire, we've been out conducting checks over the last few weeks as part of the Community Roadwatch Scheme to educate drivers on the impact of their actions.
Those who are found to be speeding when they pass through our check point, are issued with a warning letter in the hope that they will change their behaviours.
Here's what happened:
Moss Bank, Hesketh Bank – 5 letters issued
Church Road, Tarleton – 14 letters issued
Alma Hill, Upholland – 29 letters issued
Moss Delph Lane, Aughton – 15 letters issued
Operation Centurion is our response to tackling all types of anti-social behaviour, including the anti-social use of vehicles
