Police smash down door in London St Southport to allow Paramedics to access a patient

Emergency Paramedics were called to a property in London Street Southport this afternoon after reports of a concern for safety. After trying to enter the flat without success for at least half an hour the Paramedics called for assistance from the Police .

The Police used a large hammer to smash the door down and the person was treated in the Ambulance.

Their condition is not known but is not thought to be serious.
