Police stop and search in Manchester Road Southport leads to arrest of man
Officers from Merseyside Police arrested a man in Manchester Road Southport this afternoon. The man was detained in the front garden of a property. He was handcuffed and an officer then proceeded to search him.
Several items were removed from his pockets and the inside of his clothing . These were place into an evidence bag.
After the search was finished the man was taken to the police van and taken away for further investigation.
