RTC Promenade in Southport

The elderly driver of a car lost control of their vehicle on the Promenade in Southport at approximately 10.50 this morning. The car smashed into the crossing control causing extensive damage to both the car and the crossing.

No serious injuries occurred to the occupants of the car.
