Sefton Council grateful to eyeonsouthport

Earlier today we published a story about a metal bench by the Monument that has been broken for at least 6 weeks. Sefton Council have responded.

A spokesperson for Sefton Council said: “We are very grateful to Eye on Southport for bringing this to our attention.

“As soon as we were made aware of this issue our teams were instructed to remove the damaged bench and to make the area safe. We expect this to be completed within the next 24 hours.”
