Serious RTC Argyle Road, Southport on Christmas Day evening

The emergency services were called to Argyle Road in Southport on Christmas Day Evening at approximately 8.00pm.

An elderly lady driver lost control of the vehicle she was driving and smashed into a parked car causing her car to fly through the air and land upside down on the road.

Firefighters had to cut the lady from the car and Paramedics treated her for minor injuries before transfering her to hospital.
