Shocking Attack On Innocent Family's Car In Southport Leaves Them Traumatized

Last night just before 9pm, 2 people did this to my car whilst we were sat watching tv. Its absolutely terrified the life out of us all.

We heard loud bangs, we shot up and looked out the front window, and saw 2 people run off. With the damage they've caused were guessing they were using hammers or crow bars. My husband ran after them but they disappeared.

This happened down Canning Road Cul Sac. We've not really slept and spent most of the morning talking to police and insurance companies as well as removing glass from the drive and our belongings in the car, including my daughters child seat.

She was alseep in bed and heard everything and was really upset too. Having to explain this to a 5 year old, as she's passing this mess this morning on the way to school has been horrendous.

If everyone can share this post I'd appreciate it. I do not feel safe in my own home, we have done nothing wrong to anyone.

I simply don't understand why anyone could do this do us. This is the first car I've properly owned, and now it's going to cost me as its a write off
