Some Merseyrail lines still suffering major disruption

Due to poor weather conditions between Ellesmere Port and Rock Ferry the Ellesmere Port line is disrupted. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Impact:
Train services from Ellesmere Port may be suspended between Ellesmere Port and Rock Ferry.
Customer Advice:
Rail replacement bus service is in operation between Rock Ferry and Hooton and Hooton and Ellesmere Port

Due to poor weather conditions between Maghull and Ormskirk the Ormskirk line is disrupted. Disruption is expected until 14:00 07/01.
Impact:
Train services to Ormskirk will be terminated at and started back from Maghull.
Additional Information:
Replacement buses have been requested to run between Maghull and Ormskirk, however due to the poor weather conditions no buses are currently avaliable.
Customers advised to make alternative travel arrangements where psossible.

Due to flooding between Hooton and Capenhurst the Chester line is disrupted.
Impact:
Train services running through these stations have been suspended between Rock Ferry and Chester. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer Advice:
Ticket acceptance is in place with Transport for Wales on their services between Liverpool Lime Street and Chester.
Replacement road transport services are conveying passengers between Rock Ferry and Chester in both directions until further notice.
