Southort male arrested after Police find blades and stun gun at property.

At around 7:30 pm last night officers from Sefton Targeted Team were conducting hi-visibility patrol in the Southport area.  They had cause to stop and search a male who was found in possession of a bladed article.  The male was taken to custody where he was subsequently found in possession of a large quantity of drugs.

Officers have then conducted a search of the males house and a quantity of weapons, stolen items, drugs and a stun gun were recovered.

The male was subsequently arrested for possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs, handling stolen goods, possession of an offensive weapon in private place and possession of a section 5 firearm.
