Southport dog walkers reminded that dog poo does not grow on trees
Please treat the coast and parks responsibly.
If you are a dog owner clean up after pets and do not leave bags behind.
Do not disturb wildlife and keep dogs out of all pools and flooded areas.
Dog poo doesn’t grow on trees.
Never leave bags of dog poo around, even if you plan to bin it later.
As well as being an eyesore, they take a long time to break down and dog poo can make people, wildlife and livestock sick.
Bag it and bin it! Any public waste bin will do. If you can’t find one, take it home and put it in the bin.
