Southport FC have a new assistant manager

Further to the announcement that manager Liam Watson made at the Meet the Manager & Players event on Saturday evening, we can officially confirm that due to a promotion in his full-time day job, Todd Blayney will no longer be joining Liam’s management team.

Instead however, we are pleased to confirm that Andy Burgess who joined us recently with a wealth of playing and coaching experience, has been appointed as Assistant Manager.
