Southport Neighbourhood Officers and Police Animals Join Anniversary Event at Botanic Gardens

We are pleased to say that some of our dogs, horses and #Southport Neighbourhood Officers will be attending this event to support the 150th Anniversary of the Botanic Gardens!

Matrix, Dogs, Drones and Mounted Inspector, Phil McManus, said: “My officers and police staff where overwhelmed by public support they received following disorder in Southport last summer, especially knowing what a traumatic time it was for those living in the area.

“When asked to support the anniversary event my officers and I were only too happy to respond and offer support and attend.”

If you see any of our officers or four-legged friends on Sunday (15 June) please do stop and say hello! We can’t wait to see you all there
