Southport Pleasureland to feature on CBBC

We’ve been eagerly waiting to share the news that Southport Pleasureland will be featured in the first episode of the upcoming second series of Princess Mirror Belle! Filming took place way back in the summer earlier this year, where the Princess Mirror Belle cast and crew descended on the park grounds to film the much anticipated new series of the children’s TV show.

What is the Princess Mirror Belle TV Series?
Princess Mirror Belle is a popular CBBC children’s drama about a young girl and her mischievous mirror double. The first season aired back in 2021 and now it’s back with a new series for 2022. The episode in which Southport Pleasureland features in is the very first episode named ‘Wobblesday’ of the second season.

In this episode, it’s Wobblesday for Mirror Belle and she quite literally wobbles out of a theme park Hall of Mirrors and it’s her wobbliness that helps her win lots of prizes amongst other things!

Filming of this episode took place at Southport Pleasureland back in June this year, where we saw the park grounds filled with cameras, microphones, cast, crew and an all-round fantastic atmosphere! We absolutely loved having the CBeebies gang at the park and we can’t wait to see the episode in full soon!

So, when can you watch the new series of Princess Mirror Belle? The first episode airs Monday 21st November at 5.30pm on CBBC. But don’t worry if you’re not able to watch it live, because all episodes will be available on the BBC iPlayer on the same day.
