Southport Prepares for Midweek Face Off with Struggling Spennymoor

Southport welcome Spennymmor Town to The Big Help Stadium on Tuesday. The game kicks off at the usual midweek time of 7.45pm.

Tickets are on sale online at the discounted rate until midnight Monday 22nd.

We will be looking to reverse the dreadful result up in the North East back in August which proved to be manager Liam Watson’s last game in charge.

Spennymoor come in to the game without a win since November 11th when they won on the road at King’s Lynn and they were 4th in the table. They now sit in 17th place after a bad run of form.

After 14 days without a game it will be good to get back out on the pitch! New arrivals Festus Arthur on loan from FC Halifax and Will Russ signed from Fleetwood will be looking at making their debuts.

Southport and Spennymoor have had regular meetings down the years and this will be the 22nd occasion we have played each other in all competitions including games against Spennymoor United.
